Easy Rice Pudding Recipe & CoffeeI grew up with this easy rice pudding recipe. My mum used to bake rice pudding every week and she has been well known for baking the best her neighbourhood. This has always been so impressive to everyone. Maybe even too impressive because it took me years to start baking it on my own.
This may look like overindulging
in nostalgic feelings, but vivid memories of my mum's yummy rice pudding is the
main reason for not having tried any other easy rice pudding recipe than hers.
Though it has been given a little twist, to be perfectly honest. The joy of
experimenting with different ingredients is the one to be blamed for this.
When I introduced baked rice pudding with pandan flakes to my mum for first
time she did not really show any excitement. How on earth could the rice
pudding be green? Old school I guess. Well, the story turned 180 degrees
when she tried it.
Well but it's not only me. My husband is also a real fan of yummy baked rice pudding so I bake it every time when our sweet teeth demand it. And there must be a drink as well and my number one choice is always coffee. I just can't imagine having tea, juice or any other drink with baked rice pudding. The tastes of other beverages just don't combine well with the taste of baked rice pudding, period. This is my personal taste of course and perhaps many would disagree with my choice.
Here is the one of easy rice
pudding recipes which has been baked in our kitchen for years and is a great coffee
companion:
